Re: Ronald Regan Versus Barack Obama

No worries about standing alone, as I said we are a mixed bag of nuts and can agree to disagree.  smile

A woman has a choice. If she does not want to be pregnant she can say no and keep her legs together.

While I do not think abortion is right, I do believe it is a woman's choice.
This is not the proper place for debate, so I will stop at my opinion, but this can be carried on in the debate section.  smile

Re: Ronald Regan Versus Barack Obama

Strange,,, I thought this was open to debate.
Pasted here is AKA Steve's opening comments.

If there was a presidential election held today and the two candidates were Ronald Regan and Barack Obama, who would you vote for?

You can simply post the name of the person you choose, or you can add your reasons for your pick, or whatever else you have to say on the subject.

This is in the debate forum, but you don't have to defend your choice if you choose not to, this is more of a poll then anything, but if it evolves into more.... so be it
Have fun.

I totally agree with you.

Re: Ronald Regan Versus Barack Obama

I don't think this is  the proper place for an abortion debate.  This thread is about who you vote for and your reasons why.
Debate on that material is OK here, but I don't think steve intended for us to get away from the topic and debate the reasons we would vote one way or another alone.

Hope that is clear!  neutral

Since those are my only 2 choices, I would vote for Obama.   I just don't see Ronald Reagan being *equipped* to handle situations in today's world.    He was good in the 80s, but this is 25 years later, it's a different world than the one Ronald Reagan knew.

Nobama has a job to do here and he is going it pretty good.
His job is to run this country down

I dare to ask how Obama is running this country down?
What has he been able to do so far that has made this country any worse off than it was before his administration?

Our problems today have not come from Obama being President, they started long before then.  And just as our problems didn't arise overnight, they can't be turned around overnight!

Re: Ronald Regan Versus Barack Obama

If there were an election held today between Regan and Obama, Ronald Regan would win easily. America is dying to get back to our basic moral standards that a whole lot of people don't have. Also I can't get why the left wants to yell racism if someone critizes Barack hussein Obama. I am a Republican and a tea party member and also a member of the Republican National Commitee and life member of the NRA and a christian. I am stereotyped for belonging to these things. I have noticed though in the past few years a disturbing trend, the minority on any given subject such as gay marriage, anti gun lobbists, anti war activist and environmentalists are getting very violent. Dr. Martin Luther King jr.s' message has been completely lost. He pushed for nonviolent protesting. oh well, even so come Lord Jesus. P.S. these are just my opinions and in no way do I mean to offend or cause an argument. :pls
